The 2016 Hasani presidential election was the 3rd presidential election in Hasanistan's history. The competing candidates were the incumbent Tanju Çakar of the Progressive Party, Shady Morsi of the Independence Party, Mohamet Ali of the Islamic Party and Hasan Çakar of the Nomad Party (formerly the Secessionist Party). Hasan Çakar won the election by 58% of the vote. It was the first election Hasan Çakar was allowed to run in a election following his temporary ban after the fall of the single-party era. The Progressive Party has claimed the election was rigged but this is disputed.
