The 2013 Hasani presidential election was the first democratic election to be held in Hasanistan, held on 10 June 2013. The elections took place following the resignation of Supreme Leader Hasan Çakar and the collapse of the single-party rule of the Secessionist Party, one day prior to the election.[1] In the election, Tanju Çakar of the Progressive Party defeated Nico Fors of the Secessionist Party and Manu Çobanoğlu of the Peace and Unity Party to be elected for the first of his two terms as President of Hasanistan.[2]
