The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).[1] The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, in December 2019. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak to be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020 and recognized it as a pandemic on 11 March.[2][3]
the government of Konraq and Kökqoyunlu has issued statements to seek medical help from Macronational autorities if someone contracred COVID-19, This is the first time that the Konraqi State responded to a outbreak of a virus since the 2016 Zika Virus when Konraq (then under Dachenia) banned flights to Brazil and banned people entrying Konraq from Brazil, 2 suspected cases where reported to the Konraqi Ministry of Health... altough later they where confirmed to be negative on November 26th 2021, The Konraqi government banned COVID-19 Misinformation in an effort to curb misinformation during the pandemic The government strategy on pandemic control has been criticised due to infringing on free speech for the refusal to acknowledge the role of asymptomatic spread and the role of masks in preventing spread,
Measures were taken by the Government for the public health to prevent the spread of this viral disease, including the "intelligent lockdown".
On Wednesday, December 15, government officials confirmed the first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. One citizen of the State Union tested recently positive. The government feared it might be the new Omicron variant At least 2 members of the House of Republics who where close to the positivly tested person are now in home qurantine Further international spread of COVID-19 is to be expected over the coming days and weeks.
