In case of a presidential absence. the Acting President is elected by the state council. (with the execption of Engelhart which was appointed by presidetial degree 105. With the establishment of the Coolidge Reforms in 2018 the posititon of acting president is abolished. With the Vice-President of Viadalvia becoming acting president and the first in line of sucession
