Aliya İzzetbegoviç Mosque
The Aliya İzzetbegoviç Mosque was announced on 18 November 2020 and plans to be completed by 2100, located in Kınık and intended to become the main centre of worship for Islam in Hasanistan. The proposed architectural design of the mosque is inspired by the minaret of the Dungan mosque in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan and Tatar Islamic architecture (such as Märcani Mosque in Kazan, Russia). It is named after Alija Izetbegović, who served as leader of Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1990 and 2000 and authored works such as the Islamic Declaration and Islam Between East and West.[1]
