The 2013 Shadyvinkensteiner General Election was the first direct elections for the legislative branch to be held in Shadyvinkenstein, This is also the first elections where Shadyvinkensteiners in exile voted for their political representative and executive of the then Council. which was established after the Shadyvinkensteiner Civil War. and was mainly contested between the Traditionalists and the Reformist factions. The reformist faction emerged victorious, securing a majority with five seats in the parliament. In stark contrast, the traditionalists faced a formidable setback, losing half of their seats in parliament. This decline was attributed to a combination of strategic missteps during the campaign and a growing dissatisfaction among voters with the traditionalist rhetoric.

The election results signaled a waning influence of traditionalism in the political landscape, reflecting a desire for change and a departure from established norms.. The election results were largely attributed to a combination of poor campaigning strategies and a growing weariness among the electorate towards the entrenched traditionalist ideologies in the kingdom. The reformists' campaign, emphasizing modernization and inclusivity, resonated with a broad spectrum of voters and propelled them to a commanding position in the legislative body.

Futhermore Guy van Volen who leant more towards right-wing ideologies than the leftist tendencies of the main reformist faction, was elected as an Independent Reformist and caucused with the Reformist faction Meanwhile, the traditional game clubs, managed to retain their seats. However, their overall seat count experienced a reduction from three to two. This adjustment in the balance of power within the game clubs reflected a shift in parliamentary dynamics, signaling a need for adaptability and collaboration in the evolving political landscape.

The elected parliament, served a relatively short term of 132 days. On April 19th of the same year, the parliament was dissolved. This dissolution was not only a procedural conclusion to the term but also carried significant implications for the future of Shadyvinkenstein. Subsequently, a momentous decision was made to merge the Shadyvinkensteiner parliament with that of the Republic of Hoogwaard.

  3. The existance of the game clubs predates the Kingdom of Shadyvinkenstein
  4. In the distinct electoral constituency designated for the Shadyvinkensteiner Game Clubs, a noteworthy democratic process unfolded as the enthusiastic members exercised their voting rights to elect two distinguished representatives. The electoral proceedings, tailored specifically for this unique constituency, provided a platform for active participation and engagement among the Game Club communities, ultimately culminating in the selection of two individuals who will serve as the official representatives of their peers
