The Konraqi Presidential Election 2021 was held on 27 October 2021 (with senate elections on October 31, 2021) to choose the first president of Konraq, an office established as part of Konraq becoming a republic. former Monarchs Mohammed Boky and Shady Morsi ran for President and Prime Minster respectively Parliamentary elections were also held in Konraq on to elect the Council of Representatives. The president is elected indirectly by the Council of Representatives

Campaign

The VNH fielded 8 candidates for the 8 seats in the Council of Representatives, Since Konraq's Minister of Internal Affairs collapsed it was unknown who was and wasnt a Konraqi citizen... Konraq had 36 citizens before the crisis At this period elections did not take place at the same time and there was little to no campaining. The votes where based on personal loyality. the votes where conducted with voice voting ,Mohammed Boky was the only candidate for the office; While both Shady Morsi and Uygur Karataş where candidates for Prime Minister before Boky selected Shady Morsi

The platform of the VNH advocated national reconstruction after the civil war, maintaining and strengthening ties with Hasanistan, Nedland and Mahuset, encouraging and expanding tourism; the use of Ethereum as a currency, (though the various factions of the VNH split over what to back, Ethereum Classic or Ethereum with the Boky-Morsi ticket advocating to use Ethereum) Recognition of China and Taiwan also served during the campaign with the Taipeinite faction of the VNH being more sympathetic toward Taiwan. While Boky and Wacht (also known as the Bejingnites) switched Konraq's recognition to China

The senate however was in fact elected, the senate has 7 seats (3 for the 2 regions Upper Konraq and Lower Konraq and one representing Konraqis Abroad) However vote confusion over the role the Senate would have, Only around 7 valid votes were cast, Konraq's tradition to keep monotheistic minority parties was still retained as both the Christian Democratic Party and the Nation of Israel in Konraq won 1 seat each
