Glozhenia is a proposed state envisioned by Yan Vjatjeslavitsj and Shady Morsi. Although Glozhenia was initially mentioned as an independent state within the Confederation of Alfea-Glozhenia, this confederation ultimately failed to materialize. However, in 2024, the concept was resurrected as a "cultural and constructed language project." It is rather described as Shady Morsi's last attempt to form a micronation. Though Morsi has announced that he woud not take any role besides being its foreign minister Glozhenia was initially proposed as a directional republic, though the idea of a monarchy has gained significant popularity among its proponents.
Glozhenia claims a small, unnamed rock located in Glozhene Cove. This location is named after the settlement of Glozhene and the homonymous Glozhene Monastery in northern Bulgaria, from which the proposed nation derives its name The modest territorial claim of Glozhenia is rooted in Yan Vjatjeslavitsj's literal interpretation of the concept of a micronation. Vjatjeslavitsj believes that claiming a small, unnoticed rock would increase the chances of international recognition. He posits that nations are more likely to oppose large territorial claims, whereas a minimal claim might be overlooked. Furthermore, Vjatjeslavitsj emphasizes that a nation's essence is defined by its people rather than its geographical size.
