The 2020 Batyr Chess Invitational was an upcoming online-based international chess competition, scheduled to be held in June, hosted by the city of Batyr, Hasanistan on the chess server Chess.com. On 5 August 2020, the competition was postponed indefinitely and effectively cancelled before the tournament could be completed due to "coronavirus-related contextual issues".[1]
