The Qaragüliyyâh, officially the Shī‘ah Imāmī Alevī Qaragüliyyâh Ṭarīqah, were a Shia spiritual order (tariqah), founded by Qaragüliyyâh Deñız Beg.

Qaragüliyyâh Islam held major influence upon the society and politics of almost all the successor states of the Empire of Pavlov, although it was not widely followed among their respective populations. Qaragüliyyâh Islam was designated the official state religion of the Third Hasani Republic, the Qök Qoyunlu Beglïqï and the Expansive Realm of Khorașan.

Etymology

The term Qaragüliyyâh is a compound of three parts: qara, gül and -iyyah. The words qara and gül are both of Oghuz Turkic origin, with qara meaning black or dark and gül meaning flower. The component of -iyyah is a suffix of Arabic origin, used to form abstract nouns from other nouns. The literal translation of the term Qaragüliyyâh is intended to either be Black Flower or Black Flowerism.
